US forms working groups on lifting global travel restrictions

The Biden administration is forming working groups that will determine how to safely restart international travel. The group will be led by the White House COVID-19 Response Team, the National Security Council, and other US agencies. It will also include representatives from Canada, Mexico, the EU and the UK. Airlines for America encouraged the groups to “act quickly to endorse a policy backed by science that will allow travelers who are fully vaccinated to travel to the US. Quickly is the key – we believe the science is there.”
