US weighs contact tracing, vaccinations for visitors

Intensive safeguards such as contact tracing will be part of new protocols for international travel being developed by the Biden administration, a spokesman said Wednesday. No easing of current visitor restrictions are in the offing, and vaccination mandates for foreign nationals are being considered, White House coronavirus response coordinator Jeff Zients said.
