Verizon, AT&T delay 5G rollout

AT&T and Verizon have agreed to pause their planned 5G rollout for two weeks after federal officials asked for a delay, and airlines warned that significant flight disruptions would be caused by restrictions to safeguard against potential interference with aircraft avionics. “We look forward to using the additional time and space to reduce flight disruptions associated with this 5G deployment,” the Federal Aviation Administration said.
