Weddings, other events off limits for Beijing hotels

Hotels in Beijing have been forbidden from playing host to weddings and some other gatherings under new nationwide rules prompted by COVID-19 outbreaks elsewhere in China. The capital itself reportedly has seen few cases, but tight controls have been imposed on group activities and hotels in a designated “core area” are banned from holding them.
