West Star Aviation announces new GJT Project Manager Jason Mital

West Star Aviation welcomes Jason Mital as a new Project Manager at their Grand Junction, Colorado (GJT) facility.

Jason has over 25 years’ experience in corporate aviation, which included project management from both Elliot and Jet Aviation. Previously he worked as a turbine shop mechanic, then quality control inspector with Garrett Aviation.

“Jason will bring a wealth of knowledge to West Star and his extensive experience will benefit the team immensely,” said Dave Krogman, General Manager (GJT).

“I was interested in West Star based on the prestige they held within the industry and am excited to offer my skills to the number one MRO in the business,” said Jason Mital, Project Manager (GJT).

West Star is proud to have been voted the number one preferred MRO for seven consecutive years from 2014-2020 in Professional Pilot Magazine’s annual PRASE Survey. The survey first included the ‘Most Preferred MRO’ category in 2014 and West Star has won the number one slot each year since its inception. West Star Aviation specialises in the repair and maintenance of airframes, engines and APUs, avionics installations and repair, major modifications, interior refurbishment, exterior paint, accessory services, and parts.
