What lies ahead for hotels this year?

Barry Sternlicht of Starwood Property Trust says it’s going to take “a while” for convention travel to return, whereas leisure travel over the summer appears very healthy. Sternlicht does think hotels will benefit as more companies allow people to work from home, since that may generate more in-person team-building events that require hotel stays.
