White House hosts summit on advanced air mobility

The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy hosted a daylong summit on advanced air mobility on the subjects of air taxis and incorporating commercial drones into domestic airspace. “Longer term, the agency plans to continue to develop permanent regulations to safely enable powered-lift operations and pilot training and certification,” said Billy Nolen, acting administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration.
