Why Campbell CEO believes inclusion drives diversity

Campbell Soup is changing its diversity and inclusion strategy by focusing on transparency instead of targets and promoting inclusion first. “The idea of inclusion coming first is really about wiring comprehensively a broad scope plan and strategy that will change culture that makes it conducive to attracting and retaining diversity,” said CEO Mark Clouse, during the most recent Consumer Brands Association CPG Speaks leadership series session. “If you’re going to have a systemic impact, you have to have systemic plans.”
