Why it’s best to fly a rhino upside down

Cornell University researchers have discovered that when conservationists need to relocate African rhinoceroses, flying them upside down suspended by their legs is the best strategy. The study showed that position opened up the rhino’s airways and improved blood oxygen during the trip to their new home.
