Women-owned businesses gather for pop-up shopping event

Eighteen women-owned businesses representing industries from spas to jewelry took part in a recent pop-up shop in Cleveland County, N.C. The turnout in both vendors and customer inspired the event’s creators — Taylor Harbison, owner of Luex 17 Boutique, and Madison Brooks, owner of Blackheart Skin Co. — to start planning for a 2022 pop-up shop.
