Worldwide event will memorialize Marriott’s Sorenson

Marriott International is inviting the general public to join its personnel in a weeklong global run/walk/wheel event starting Thursday in memory of the late CEO Arne Sorenson. “This reminds us to be kind to our body and to one another — as Arne displayed in his life,” a company spokesperson said of Sorenson, who died from pancreatic cancer Feb. 15 and would have observed his 25th anniversary with Marriott this Thursday.
